Why the power number says little
Two players with the same power can be far apart in a fight.
Power is a sum of very different things: building levels, research, hero levels, troop count. Only part of that matters in combat — and troop count is the entry that grows the number fastest while helping least in a fight.
What actually counts in combat
- How strong your first squad really is: heroes, research, troop tier, gear, airship.
- Which troop type faces which — the types counter each other.
- The formation: matching hero types in a squad give a bonus to HP, ATK and DEF.
The low-tier troop trap
Mass-producing low-tier troops raises power quickly. In a fight they die and fill your hospital. Once a higher tier unlocks, the old troops should be promoted rather than multiplied.
The same applies to your opponent: a high power number can be a pile of weak troops. Before attacking, it pays to look at which troop type is standing there — not just at the number.
